A step-by-step guide to Apply for NDIS Funding
Applying for the NDIS involves several key steps to ensure you receive the support you need. This process can seem daunting, but we’ve created a step-by-step guide to help make it a little easier for you.
NDIS: Understanding the Value of Non Face-to-Face Supports
Sistability’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the health, safety, and overall quality of living environments for our clients remains paramount. This dedication extends beyond the visible, embodying a full spectrum of non face-to-face supports that are critical to the comprehensive service we provide. Although these supports may not always be directly observable, they are integral components of our robust support framework, ensuring that every aspect of care and service delivery is managed professionally and efficiently.
The Difference between NDIS Self-managed, Plan-managed and NDIA managed
Managing your NDIS fund plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of your package. That's why it's important to carefully consider who will take on this responsibility. To make the right choice, it's essential to understand the differences between self-managed funding, plan-managed funding, and NDIA-managed funding.
NDIS Core Supports Explained
Sistability provides domestic cleaning and in-home laundry services as a registered NDIS provider. These supports fall under ‘Assistance with Daily Life’ in your Core Supports budget.

What happens if you don’t use your allocated NDIS funds?
Once your current NDIS plan ends, your funds stop. And any unspent funding will NOT roll over into your new plan.
After each plan review, you will receive a new plan outlining supports and funds for the next period of time. While you have the choice and control to spend your funds strategically throughout the year, you cannot roll over unspent money.
What does this mean for you? Simply put, use it or lose it!
Six health benefits to a clean home
Not only does having a clean home reduce my anxiety and stress levels, but it also allows me to spend quality time with my family - in particular when my toddler asks me to play with him. I can focus all my energy on what I'm doing with him, rather than worry about cleaning the kitchen or having to vacuum or mop the floor! I know he appreciates that too because he gets all of me, not a distracted mother who wants to pull her hair out. A ‘love bomb’ - so to speak - of quality time with his Mumma.
